What to Expect from Full-Day Competition Coverage

Booking competition coverage for the first time can feel daunting — you're focused on your performance, and the last thing you want to worry about is whether the photographer knows where to be. Here's exactly what happens from the moment we arrive to the moment your gallery lands in your inbox.
We arrive at least 30 minutes before your first class. This gives us time to walk the course or arena, identify the best positions for each phase, check the light, and introduce ourselves to you and your horse. We want your horse to be comfortable with our presence before we start shooting.
Throughout the day, we move constantly. For a show jumping day, we'll typically cover the warm-up arena, the in-gate, and multiple positions around the main course. We're looking for the fences that offer the best light and the most dramatic angles — but we also make sure to cover every fence at least once.
After the session, we cull and edit your gallery within 14 days. You'll receive a private online link to your full gallery, with all images available for download in high resolution. We include both colour and black-and-white versions of our favourite images.
One final note: we always recommend sharing your schedule with us in advance, including your class times, horse's name, and rider number. This helps us make sure we never miss a round — and it means we can plan our positions to make the most of the available light throughout the day.
